Chapter 21

Xane carried Dani straight into the bedroom. No more stalling; he needed this lady naked now so he could get inside of her and he wasn’t going to be delayed a moment longer. Since her lips were glued to his and her legs wrapped tightly around his waist, he figured she was in complete accord with that plan.

‘Let me get this off,’ he insisted, while encouraging her to remove her arms from the sleeves of her dress, which proved tricky while she clung to him and he supported her weight.

Nor did it help that Dani seemed more interested in taking off his trousers. They slithered down his legs as he walked, tangling around his feet, which meant, loath as he was to do it, he had to put her down before they both ended up flat on their backs.

‘Work with me a little, eh?’

Somehow she seemed to interpret that as ‘work me’, since her palm immediately wrapped around his cock.

Given how excited he already was, her touch ramped his need up way too high.

‘Christ, Dani!’ He captured her wrists and locked them tight within his grip as arousal tingled through the whole of him. Even his nose felt ready to explode. ‘Give me a moment. I want to come inside you, not all over your frock.’

‘I like seeing you come,’ she told him. ‘I love all the faces you make and the way it makes you purr like you do on stage. Have you ever fucked anyone on stage?’

‘No, I haven’t, you little imp.’ He might rectify that at the first opportunity, if the thought turned her on so much. He’d take her dressed in his leathers with his stage make-up still on and steam pouring off him from the heat of the lights. Though they’d be doing it after the show, once the audience had gone home, not in front of a few thousand rockers. His talent for exhibitionism stopped shy of involving his sex life – well, mostly.

‘Need me to do anything?’ she asked, her brown eyes alight with arousal. He loved that she could be so prim and proper, and then wild the next moment.

‘Nope.’ He continued to hold her still.

‘Really, no.’ If she touched him again, the top of his head was going to fly off.

‘Well, that’s not much fun,’ she huffed.

‘Fun,’ he insisted, ‘is what we’re going to have when we make it as far as the bed.’

She turned her head, he guessed to measure the distance, then marched her feet back the requisite number of paces, tugging him along in her wake. Xane relaxed his grip, allowing her to slip free and climb into the centre of the enormous bed.

‘Now what?’

‘Get naked.’

Her dress still clung to her waist, covering her lower half, while on top a vampish purple-and-black-striped bra hid the delights of her breasts from sight. She made no attempt to remove either, which set him scrambling after her to rectify her oversight.

The moment she was within reach, Xane slipped a hand behind her back and undid her bra fastening.
